At Gopooja we sell handmade products from India and other parts of Asia. Our mission statement is to provide unique items, keeping in mind and respecting the needs of local artisans. We purchased most of our products from organizations or individuals helping local artisans in dire need of income. We hope to continue helping those artisans while providing beautiful handmade products for your enjoyment. Each and every item has been handpicked, and all our products are made by hand, using only natural fibers i.e. 100% cotton, linen, silk, and/or recycled materials. Every item is unique and cannot be duplicated except for a few items. Irregularities in some of the products are expected because of the handmade nature of the items. This does not reflect on the quality or the beauty of the item. We have tried to differentiate Gopooja from other websites by offering information about the artisans, and detailed description of the products. We are offering "Creative Suggestions" in many of our categories, helping our clients to visualise the different ways an item can be used. We also have included a bit of history, culture, and other cultural information that may be interesting.
